Robert Aley (MA) founded The Wax Studio in 2003. He has a passion for good design and is particularly interested in stretching the boundaries of the materials in which he works. He designs candles which are genuinely original and develops his own techniques and equipment to realise his designs. Robert also has expertise in supporting small enterprises in developing countries and is a trustee of the charity Advantage Africa. The Wax Studio now enjoys a strong reputation for design creativity and high quality handmade products.
