McDougall, Anne - Biography |
||
Anne McDougall was born in London and educated in London and Hong Kong, she completed a three year course in General Illustration at Twickenham Art School where she was awarded a Licensorship to the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers and the Surrey Diploma in Art and Design. After working freelance as an illustrator for a design agency she then worked in Visual Merchandising based in Paris and also travelling extensively in the UK and Ireland. She continued to work on freelance commissions and with local gallery’s specialising in detailed Natural History and animal illustrations. Now back in the Chichester area Anne is concentrating on painting delicate Watercolours of the local area and the beautiful English countryside. Inspired by the colours and textures of the countryside and the beauty of the changing seasons she particularly loves painting the sky and capturing the amazing colours which are always different depending on the ever-changing light and weather. |
